It's fun to be in a D&D-esque world. There are nods to gaming without it taking you out of the story. Great art, fantastic characters (both in design and personality), they all felt fully-realized even in such a short, introductory story. I'll definitely be reading on.

This was a super fun romp, certainly a comic for ADULTS! great characters, a bit of mystery, a couple dashes of romance and sex, LOTS of gore, violence, and snark... Its like if Fox Force Five (you know the dame squad from pulp fiction) were adventuring wenches "the best adventuresses this side" of the something-something ocean... Hanna, Dee, Violet and Betty make up the squad and they all bring their own special talents which make the Rat Queens AWESOME... super fun read looking forward to more

So good. SOOOOOOOO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!! This is everything I want in life. Just this comic. Forever and ever.
This is so aptly titled, because this was SO filled with sassiness and so much badassery! I laughed often and audibly while reading this in public and I regret nothing. It's so fun, so funny, bawdy, and not just a little bloody. The Rat Queens kick ass and party hard and it's super fun to adventure with them.

Everything about this comic is delightful. The Rat Queens are all loveable, especially Betty. The art is fantastic, vibrant and fun. The writing is sharp and funny. It's hard to ask for more from a comic.

Eh. There were aspects I liked about this, but it just felt like it was trying too hard. The bawdiness, violence, and characterizations of quoteunquote super sexy and super powerful women (creatures? beings?) was so over the top that it never landed or made any connections. I'm glad there are some women readers who do connect with this story, and I guess I am glad it is out there in the cannon but it just wasn't for me.

OMG. I super enjoyed this. Butt-kicking, hard drinking, swearing and take want they want mercenaries who happen to be women. Very fun.
