Christopher Banks is a fascinating character. He doesn't appear to be entirely reliable as a source primarily because he seems to have been so deeply affected by the circumstances which have left him an orphan in search of his parents. Ishiguro's writing is incredibly rich and while I enjoyed Never Let Me Go perhaps a little more (faster paced for sure) this book delivered more of what I loved about Never Let Me Go. This book was alright, but too confusing for my taste. The Remains of the Day and Never Let Me Go, on the other hand, were brilliant. I'd recommend reading them instead.
