I loved Fast Food Nation and was excited to read this, but I quickly realized a paragraph into COT that this book is pretty much the same as FFN, but condensed into YA format. Many of the topics and stories are same, but COT caters to the teen audience by giving more faces and personal stories that will matter to the reader.
