Definitely written with Flynn's flair, but one of those books that there SEEMS to be a story while one is reading it, but afterward.....not so much. What is truth? What is lie? The convention sounds cool, though. ...more

The set-up had me hooked for most of the short story, and then it got a little lot silly, and then it ended. So now I don't know what to think. I mean, I liked it, but overall it left me disappointed in where it went.

I'm not usually a short story/novella person, but I enjoyed this. Weird and kept you as unsure of what was really going on as the ultimately naive main character. I wish it was a full book though - I always feel cheated when I like something and it ends so quickly. ...more
