i read on neil gaiman's blog that adults would find this book creepier than kids, kids mostly thinking of it as an adventure story, and he's right it was creepy. but of course, that's why i wanted to read it. coraline discovers a door that leads to her house, but it's not really her house. her "mother" wants her to live there and does everything possible to keep coraline there. it was creepy, but good. you should go to neil gaiman's blog as well, he is a strange man.
