Choosing to read this book before bed my first week living alone was not a great idea. During the day, this book is a little quirky and creepy. At night, it could be downright scary. I ended up reading most of it over breakfast rather than as a bedtime story.

I liked The Graveyard Book better, but this isn't my favorite genre.

Fun and super creepy. Gaiman's tone when he writes for children is so lyrical and delicious, I think I like it more than his adult stuff.

I had to change this to five stars after re-reading (actually, I listened to it the second time). So good, and really quite creepy.
Creative & spooky read for upper elementary/middle schoolers. Lots of fun and appropriately scary!
