Humorous title aside, this collection of 7 essays is so on-point and relevant, particularly after the crazy last few weeks on the bookternet where friends were threatened and called names for voicing an opinion - their very right to exist questioned by people who wished to silence and control them.

I just wish this was longer (it's quite a small book).

Important and thought provoking. Certainly helped me articulate the feelings of being a woman in modern society and what still needs to be done. I will probably revisit some of these.

I know so many people, men and women both, who need to read this. But I'm sure they won't. Of course, that's part of the problem, and the reason the essays collected in the book exist in the first place. ...more

I didn't like this as much as I expected. The essays were clearly written, and well written, but I struggled to really connect with it I guess. Which is bizarre, as a woman in the world. ...more
