Shelves: place-uk, short-stories, gave-up, not-for-me
I gave this 100 pages before I jumped ship. My time is finite and this was a real dud. For a writer who as achieved such acclaim, I expected a lot more. I'll still read Wolf Hall, but for short stories I'll stick to authors known for working well in that form. ...more

These are not short stories as much as vignettes. Mildly interesting but not nearly as gripping as the Wolf Hell series (and where is book 3?). I'm glad I got this from the library and didn't pay for it! ...more
