What Members Thought
This was a good book, but very sad. Stoner's life is impacted by his unloving parents and perhaps that is what causes him to make such a bad marriage. An apparent success by going from farm boy to tenured English professor, his inner self might quibble with the idea that he had a wonderful life. Well written. I enjoyed reading it, but it was so sad.
