Sad and angst-y. Makes me think of Tolstoy “All happy families are alike; each unhappy family is unhappy in its own way.” Teeming in unhappiness, yet profoundly universal.

Omg. So good. Parents pass their dreams and neuroses on to their kids. The kids react as they grow. What life do you really want and what do you need to give up to get it? As always, a very emotional and well written work by Celeste Ng.
