What Members Thought
It was definitely super long and maybe a little overdone at points (suspending disbelief enough to think that people would actually write letters with that much detail was hard for me!), but it was so well done that I didn't care - I was waiting at the pharmacy reading it and I forgot where I was, I got so swept up in the beautiful descriptions of Istanbul and other far-flung places. So, so gorgeously written.

I got to about page 400, and realized I didn't really care if the characters got killed by the vampires or whatever. The plot is reasonably engaging, but I just didn't care to find out what happened next.
