I keep a big, soft spot in my heart for Nora Ephron, and another big soft spot for autobiographical sketches, so I really enjoyed this little volume. To completely live the cliche, I read the stories in a Lush bubble bath, glass of wine in hand, and was not disappointed by the experience. Reading Nora is like a long chat with my mother: comforting, silly, and occasionally marked with an awkward overshare.

Ephron's collection of essays is an easy read but a little uneven, with some essays far more entertaining than others.
