Dishy goodness. Argh, need book 2!
Hilarious, entertaining and crazy- just like its title- this book has successfully made me laughing out loud for the most part of my reading. Fast paced, too- with so many relatable moments and cultural reference that was funny and borderline inappropriate :D
The Indonesian translation is pretty good although I'm curious with the original Singlish version. Kevin Kwan seems to know exactly what he's writing about and I immediately ordered the second installment as soon I finished this book XD

I had a hard time getting into the book, but then it was like a train wreck and I couldn't look away. It was entertaining, in the vein of the Real Housewives. I hear the second was is better, so we'll see if I can pick it up from the library.

Crazy Rich Asians is very much in the same vein as Gossip Girl and Edith Wharton. Rich people! Drama! Snooty elderly family members! Gossip! Name dropping like it’s nobody’s business! Honestly, if you need more information before listening to this, I don’t know what to do for you.

I started this on audio and I loved hearing the many characters personalities, as well as the many different accents. It was a better experience than reading it with no context of the rich language and culture.

This book was so much fun! While it's pretty predictable it's perfect for a light fun read when you're in the mood for something like that.
