This was on my t0-read list ever since I saw the first ad for it and it was definitely an above-average dystopian teen book, but I didn't find myself wanting to read further....and it looks like there are probably at least four-five more in the series.

The Program presents a future in which suicide is an epidemic among teenagers and is supposedly spread like an infectious disease. In order to save the children, certain areas are implementing "The Program" *dumdumdum* where students have their memories erased in order to take away the triggers of depression, anxiety, and desire to self-harm. A terrific read. A simple concept very clearly and effectively delivered. Characters you can relate to and root for. 4.5 stars.
One of the few page-turners that I read in a day. Fast paced, loved it until.....the ending.
