A really interesting read for the first half--then it got really crass, graphic and seedy. Just a lot more about the Japanese underworld than I wanted to know. Browsed through the rest of the book. Not an uplifting read.
A fascinating, bleak look at reporting on crime in Japan. Will leave you depressed and wanting to do something, anything to stop sex trafficking.
Fascinating and deeply disturbing look at Toyko's underworld.

A really interesting book. I was surprised that I was able to enjoy it so much given that I generally disliked the narrator. A fun look into Japanese society with shocking views into the seedy underbelly of Japanese culture.
