This book is a cross between a romance and a historical mystery. Through in the humor of a Donna Andrews mystery and that sums it up pretty well.

While I picked out the central clue immediately and thus knew the solution (thus making it a weaker "puzzle" in my mind), I did enjoy the historical aspects. It's just that with this level of writing I don't feel confident in the historicity. Would Queen Victoria's great-granddaughter actual had the freedom of movement Georgiana has here? I'm not sure.
