Following Parzival around the OASIS from one quest to another one was a great adventure. It was fun.
Although I am not familiar with all those classic video games, movies and songs, it is not difficult to imagine how OASIS looks like. Its MMORPG work concepts remind me of SAO. It also brought me back to Ragnarok Online. (๑˃ᴗ˂)

It is a really wonderful thing to be pleasantly surprised by a book. Sure, I heard of this and even suggested it for friends and family but always felt like it wasn't exactly for me. But I picked this up recently for my book club and was surprised at how much I enjoyed it.

I started listening to Ready Player One as an audiobook in the car during my commute. But inevitably I would get to work, and sit in the car for a few minutes, waiting for a good spot to quit listening. Finding a good stopping point was difficult. Also, the long break from getting out of the car in the afternoon all the way to the next morning was killing me, so I took the actual book out of the library so I could keep reading.
