Very interesting series of case studies highlighting how music works in the brain and how music perception can be enhanced or inhibited by brain disease (organic or traumatic). I would have liked a bit more "science" but that's just me.

A book like this would be a big candidate for an enhanced edition with music clips or dynamic charts used to illustrate points.

I love music. I love brains. This as an audio book, however, kept losing my attention.
