Look at Dior's final ten years through the eyes of Clara, a fashion reporter turned Dior model. The story is slight, but the illustrations are really the whole point of the thing, I think. They are like fashion sketches, and the dresses are just sublime. I almost drooled over some. I did find the American bits interesting--where women complained about his long hemlines and rebelled with scissors and short hemlines. Lovely illustrations.
Beautiful drawings of the clothes. Weirdly disjointed text that skips around with no transitions or emotion.
