All that glitters is not gold.

I loved this book (and the movie too) so much I named my named my cat Holly Golightly.

I am embarrassed to admit that this is the first Truman Capote I've read, though I definitely intend to read more now.

The book I read is, I think, the most standard presentation of "Breakfast at Tiffany's": The novella followed by three other, much shorter stories. My rating is for the entire book, though I think "Breakfast at Tiffany's" as a standalone story deserves five stars.

I've never read Truman Capote before and his style (at least in B@Ts) was surprisingly lyrical and light. There is a lot of whimsy, despite some reasonably dark subject matter. Very fun to read.

The copy I read also contained three short stories which I also liked very much, especially A Christmas Memory, which was very sweet and nostalgic and left me eager to bake pies and smell snow in the air. Yum.
