I didn't actually finish this book; I was reading it on Kindle unlimited but my trial ended. Unfortunately it didn't pull me in enough to want to buy it to finish it.
I thought it was a slow beginning. I liked the ideas in it though. It had a lot of promise but I didn't really like the characters.

After a pretty good run of books that each took about 2 nights to complete The Paper Magician took a boring 10 days. Mostly because I avoided it and shut the tablet in a draw.
