What Members Thought
A very important topic, and the narrative portions are well done. But the social science struck me as less convincing, especially the advocacy for a state monopoly on violence and the unquestioningly worshipful attitude towards the police.
Exceptionally written and researched. This is the best kind of narrative nonfiction.
