Shelves: mystery-series
My first Harry Hole mystery but I don't think I suffered any from having started with number 7. There appears to be a serial killer in Norway - he kills with the first snow and leaves a snowman behind. The book was definitely an above-average murder mystery and I can see why Nesbo is highly praised. Everyone is a suspect and though I figured out the killer early, I could have easily been wrong. Nesbo, like a number of Scandinavian authors I've read, is very good at giving a sense of place - Oslo ...more
