Another great mystery from Grafton (though I must say, I could do w/ a little less attention to what characters are wearing). However, like many of them, the title has very little to do with the plot. There is a small throwaway paragraph describing an undertow in the latter half of the book, but this could easily be ripped from the book and not be missed. Too bad she's on U - this one would be better titled "D is for Dig" or "M is for Memory," since the plot revolves around a man's memory of see ...more

Sue Grafton is back on track! I could not put this book down. She had so many twists and turns and stories to follow that I didn't figure out what was going on until page 349 and I still got it wrong. ...more
