Can you believe I never read this before? So now I have. I think I'll have to read it more than once to appreciate all the nuances and subtleties. I found it amazing that Moore managed to create these completely new superhero characters and yet imbue them with a sense of mythic familiarity, as if they really have existed in the popular imagination for years. it's pretty okay. the movie was very similar but not exact. the art was good. there's a side story or two that are kind of full of "Theme."
