Perhaps you have to be a fan of superheroes or a devotee of graphic novels in order to appreciate this book. I am neither. My last encounter with Batman was the 1960s-era campy TV show.
I barely followed the story line here, but I don't know if that is because the plot jumps around so much or because I was distracted by the artwork.
