Wow what a strange book, having seen the movie first definitely helped since the names were strange and too often very similar. There were some things towards the end that i disagreed with and quite a bit that left me confused but i liked it quite a bit. i think there is a sequel and i will most likely read it. there is a blurb on the front by LA Banks that compares these vampires to anne rice's and all i have to say about that is LA banks did you ever read either this book or any by anne rice?
