I heard about this book on a podcast and decided to give it a try, but it was just not the book for me. I don't mind non-linear timelines, but this one jumped all over the place and I had trouble keeping track of what happened and where we had left off with each leap forward or backward in time.

I really liked this one. Funny and quirky like the Spellman Files but less fluffy and silly. I also liked the way the story wasn't told in chronological order, at first I kept checking the dates but as it went on I just went with it and enjoyed the story.

How did I miss this one when it came out. I love Lisa Lutz. Not a big fan of the ending b/c I feel like it just stopped. But the rest was good once you get over the jumpiness of the narrative.
I really liked the individual stories and intertwined relationships, but found the time jumps distracting.
Really enjoyed this. Not as quirky-funny as her Spellmans books, but still funny and really moving.
Maybe a 3.5 but I'll round up.
