I've had this on my "must read next" list for several years now, and I'm really glad I finally read it (and I don't understand why I kept putting it off, the whole book took only a few hours, and it was fantastic). The story was compelling, the art was beautiful, and once I got into it, I just could not put it down. If another graphic novel were recommended to me as highly as this one was, I'd pick it up in a heartbeat, but I'm not sure I'll seek out more on my own.
