I meant to finish this book in May of 2014. I'm kind of glad I dragged it out though, as it's an expansive book, taking place throughout the 20th century. No need to rush; enjoy every beautiful, painful, heartbreaking moment.

I actually think 2666 is one of the least enjoyable books I've ever read, and yet it's one of my favorites. The different books are just so dark—especially the third—but the experience of reading them was worth it.
