Took a long time to read because it's pretty dense and I ended up on lots of tangents. I honestly might have preferred less specific detail - even though I know those details are important. For me the density of information made it hard to follow the book through as a narrative.

Review in brief: A paradigm-shifting look at how we view American history but through the lens of indigenous peoples and what we can do to help make it right. It’s a tough read and I would have liked it to be longer, or delved into why indigenous peoples abstained from retaliation or stooping to the total war like their opponents.
