First the Joe Hill's wonderful NOS4R2 and now this - loving the recent output of the family. JOYLAND is quintessential King, but, due likely to the format and/or the requirements of the Hard Case Crime series, it's TIGHT, so if you've ever complained that you like King but he's far too long-winded, this is definitely a book for you.

This was suggested to me after I asked for fiction that had a focus of either a) fish-out-of-water theme, or b) details about a job or industry. There were things I didn't really like about this book, but both the new guy on the scene and the amusement park daily life aspects were fun and enjoyable.
