Again, just like the two previous volumes, the story is told from different points of view, being only the part of Claire Randall told in first person.
In this book we follow the journey of Claire and Jamie Fraser, as they set in America. However, Brianna, their daughter and whom Claire had left in the 20th century, discovers an important fact about their parents and decides to travel back in time as a mean to save them. Summer 2016 Bingo - With any season of the year in the title. My favorite of the series so far; I love where the story has taken us, but I'm not dying to see where we go next. Hence, 4 not 5 stars. It might help if the books weren't quite so long. Fitting 1,000+ pages (or ~50 hours of audio) into my life is something I can only do once a year or so!

Things have calmed down a *little* bit in the Fraser lives, but this was still a very good book. I like how the story is progressing. My only problem is that I find myself skimming things like Indian folktales — but that’s my problem, not a problem with the book. My eyes always glaze over when I hit stuff like that.
