Giving up. Everything that made the first book unique just seems labored and repetitive here. Pun-based metacommentary can only take you so far. After a while, it's all "Okay, you're clever... Story: 5 stars

Narrator: still not the biggest Emily Gray fan.

This is the second of the Tuesday Next series, taking up quickly after the first, The Eyre Affair. It is a good, funny, fast paced adventure with a lot of literary references throughout. Jasper Fforde is the Douglas Adams for the literati in each of us.
