this is a fun summer read that won't make you feel that you are selling out to have fun. it has lots of clever book references and is totally escapist. very light and quick- perfect for a plane ride, by the pool, or on the beach.

I think I liked this one even better than the first in this series. The concept behind the novel is great in itself, and add to that a likable character in Thursday Next, plus a fun plot. I'm ready to read the third one.
