First a caveat: This book addresses Wonder Woman only peripherally. This book focuses on the life of William Moulton Marston, the character's creator, and the times in which he lived. I may be a little biased since I teach graphic novel literature, but learning about how Wonder Woman formed from the most unlikely source was incredible.
And encouraging. Marston was 49 when he created Wonder Woman. Superheroes only started two years prior. The thing he was great at didn't even exist until he was 47. There's a message in that.
