It's a really clever take on the Cinderella story. The narrative and the details are solid and well thought-out, but I'm taking away a point for the ending. It's totally possible to build a trilogy or series with a broad narrative arc and still have SOME closure at the end of each individual book. (see J.K. Not super emotionally involving for me... but very entertaining. I'll definitely continue the series. I can do without persistent dudes repeatedly asking girls on dates in attempts to wear them down. Thankfully Cinder was enough of a badass for me to push through.
