Well written women's fiction that touches on hot button issues including domestic abuse, remarriage, blended families, and mommy wars. Entertaining and fast paced. I listened to the audio version and the narrator's authentic Australian accent added to the appeal.

I wanted to give this book a bad review. I hated it at first. The characters were whiney and the story line felt trivial. But as I kept reading, I realized just how true to life it is. It brings up interesting points about the role of social media in our lives, helicopter parenting, marriage crises, and domestic violence. 4.5. I loved this and really didn't expect to. The other one of hers that I've read, The Husband's Secret, was just fine, but this was way better. Listening to the Australian accents on the audiobook definitely helped. Cannot wait for the HBO series!
