What Members Thought
I enjoyed the story of this book very much, but the most impressive thing was Chabon's writing. Reading this book felt like wandering around in the coolest knick-knack store ever. I know there are so many details I missed- now that I know the story and understand the paths of the characters, I want to reread the book and luxuriate in the writing.

This was pretty good! It's a fast read about the son of a mobster, and the first several weeks after college graduation, which he spends exploring Pittsburgh in the company of some people he met at the end of the summer. The story drew me in quickly and kept a good pace.
