I enjoyed this short and engaging YA book for FYA book club, and can't wait for the sequel this fall. Great characters, relationships, and world-building, and the author has a perfectly sharp sense of humor. I never would have read this on my own, so I'm glad I had to read it for book club.

Cute! Yes, I definitely get the Doctor Who-Sherlock mashup vibe that Maricel and Selah have mentioned! Loved Jenny and Douglas the duck! The identity of the villain was a bit predictable, but not his/her origins, so that's okay.
