Motivating. I like the combination of happiness research with Gretchen Rubin's anecdotal experiences of attempting to improve her habits and life. I recommend the audio book, which is narrated by Rubin. I also recommend her podcast, Happier, which is co-hosted with her sister.

It seemed an interesting approach to happiness, taking a year to work in those things about yourself you want to change because it'll make you happy. I liked the 12 Personal Commandments and specially the Secrets of Adulthood. I'm thinking of keeping some of the commandments and the secrets I can relate to, even thought of some secrets to add to those, and will try to follow some of the resolutions as well, maybe not on a daily basis.

I'm not a big self-help book person, but this book was awesome & had a huge impact on my current life. Not super interesting to get through & took me a while, but I highly recommend the Project.
