Penny Reid can do no wrong!! She is an amazingly gifted writer and has proven again that she can make feel a gamut emotions within a single book. Her ability to tell a story is beyond anything that I can explain and I each book makes me feel that it is my favorite...until the next one, and then I am conflicted. Being from Nashville and having spent a lot of time outside of Knoxville where Green Valley is approximately set, I really enjoyed the authenticity of the setting and characters. Green Valley reminds me a lot of Caryville and a bit of Spring City, probably because I've spent spent a decent bit of time in both towns. I loved this book! And I have to say Penny Reid is not only an amazing author but she is one seriously smart cookie. Every book I read of hers I learn something new and met some really interesting characters and strong, sassy female leads... In 'Truth or Beard' I got to indulge my inner nerd with a sassy maths teacher and my inner hothead with sleek, fast cars - what could be better!

Penny does it again! This was hilarious, sweet and just enjoyable to read. I love Penny's humor. There were actually a few parts in the book that I literally LOL'd and my husband looked at me like I was crazy! If a book can do that, you know it's good!
