I have been so happy with this group of books...full of excitement, romance, a bit of action/suspense! When I am finally finished with this series, I will certainly miss Quinn & Janie!
After enjoying the rest of the series I thought I’d come back for a reread to see why I hadn’t read the rest of the series sooner. And then I remembered. It was the slut-shaming. I hate it when a book shames characters for having consensual sex either willing partners. The main character repeatedly refers to women who have slept with her love interest as “slamps”. So good.
I hate to at all cheapen this book, but I did feel like I was reading a good version of 50 Shades. No raunchy stuff, good guy, smart/hilarious/witty heroine, I just enjoyed watching these two banter and figure it all out.

I don't know if it is because I am a redhead, or a knitter, or a bit socially awkward but this is the best book I've read in a very long time. I love it. Everything about it.

Romantic story without the overblown erotica - I loved it! There is just enough mystery around the primary characters to make you want to read "just one more chapter". I really want to know what happens to this couple, and found out there is a book 2! Highly recommend.
