Describe what I felt about this book in one sentence it’s pretty easy:
Okay.
So, Janie had a pretty bad day. She lost her job, her home and found out her long-time boyfriend is a cheater. So yeah, not a sunny day for her.
Enters Quinn. He got her an interview and she has now a new job, a new house… a new friendship with Quinn.
But somehow along the way that friendship starts to grow into something more and is time to bring back the secrets, fears and ghosts from the pas ...more

Quirky Girl Meets Serious Guy (re-read)
This was a charming little love story. The female lead was super smart but socially inept. Whenever she was in a social situation she would spew obscure factoids to cover her social inadequacies. It made for some humorous points in the story.
The male lead was gruff and kind of a blank slate. I think I would have liked his character more if he didn't turn into a man of means and money. The side characters were the blast and I look forward to learning more ab ...more

This book was funny, smart, and very enjoyable. A light and easy read.
