The first time I read this book, I was totally blown away. I devoured the whole thing in like two days. I'd never read epic fantasy quite like this. Still, I don't think I quite appreciated why I liked it so much.

This felt like a long read . This novel had taken three attempts to read, but I am glad I have now finished this book.
I can’t say it’s my favourite fantasy book , and I don’t think I’ll read the sequel but the premise of the story was good for a debut novel.

I finally finished this sweeping epic fantasy novel. It was a bit of a log for me. I would have enjoyed it more if we followed more than one story line. I am not sure that i will continue with the series.
