What Members Thought
love it
I love learning about King Henry VIII and Anne Boleyn so I was very excited to find a book about Thomas Cromwell. However this book honestly bored me. While the writing was beautiful, and we got to see a new side of Cromwell, I felt as though we were trudging along with the plot.
Way too long (532 pages). Told from the point of view of Thomas Cromwell - had a hard time keeping the characters straight. Only reason I forced myself to finish the book: it's the book chosen by my bookclub for January.
