A very long read that took me two attempts to read it due to the length of it and the numerous characters
It was a book that had a strength amongst the women characters but that didn’t make it a good read , just an okay read.

The main storyline is Ayla's training and progression from Acolyte to Zelandoni, the problem is that it is quite tedious and boring. Most of this book consists of the retelling of events from the past 5 books, as well as the Mother's Song.... I grew sick of that damn song!

It got a little interesting towards the very end of the book, but then ended choppy with a few little sub plots that could have been addressed but were just dropped.... very disappointing.

I would have loved Ayla to meet some
