First and foremost, this was an entertaining read, perfect for the beach, vacation, leisure time, etc. This was my second encounter with the author and she did not disappoint. Ms. Moriarty's books flow and keep you interested at every turn, which is one of the things I love about her writing. She's also very funny, with relatable insights about people and their emotions, food, outlook, kids, clothes, that have you going, "Oh yeah, I've definitely felt that way about ________ (fill in the blank) ...more

absolutely amazing. I couldn't put it down. I was reading through naptime, through free periods and well into the evening. the twists and the ending. I'm in serious book hangover mode and am definitely going to grab another book by Liane Moriarty. This might br a tough book for anyone who has dealt with domestic violence but I think it paints the survivors in a good light and can provide positive ideas and motivation for those going through something like this ...more
