I really enjoyed this book. It was the first one I had read by this author, and I will definitely be picking up more of her stuff. I really liked the format of telling the story from the main event backwards... almost like a countdown to the who and why of the murder. it doesn't read like a murder mystery at all, and I liked not knowing who the victim was until the end. spoiler alert: I'm glad it was Perry. I was not in a place to enjoy this book like it deserves. The characters were interesting and the plot twists worth enjoying but the story was just too much like middle class, suburban, Midwest living for me to enjoy at this time.
