Week 7, a book about books.
This was an enjoyable, fast read. It was emotional without going in depth with details. The book references were fun, and although there were many, I didn't find them overwhelming.

The farther I read into this book the more beautiful it became. Truly, the author managed to begin with a dried up, cranky, unhappy bookstore owner and end with a bookstore owner filled with love...the love of everything around him; especially his wife and daughter. No, it is not a sappy romance book. It is a book filled with life and all its permutations and combinations...I think not one emotion is missed...I'm sure the next reader will find one. İçinde başka kitaplardan bahseden kitapları seviyorum. A.J. Fikry’nin basit ama değerli hayatı kalbimin bin parça kırıldığı şu günlerde bana iyi geldi. Tavsiye ederim.

This was a book club book. I probably never would have picked it out on my own. Which is a shame. It is a lovely book. It tears at the hear strings. Highly recommend it.
